When asked what the most vital makeup product is, I always think mascara. However, it’s those LASHES behind the mascara that matter most, and that is why we MUST give them extra extra TLC.
Eyelash maintenance is not something you hear about everyday.. Nowadays, it’s all about eyelash extensions and false lashes, but what happens when you’re over all that?
I have the WORST habit of picking my mascara off my eyelashes. I have no idea how or why I developed this habit, but it’s awful, because most of the time, my eyelashes come off with the mascara. Now, because of this nasty nervous tick, I have figured out some of the best tricks for keeping my lashes healthy.
TAKE YOUR MASCARA OFF EVERY NIGHT.
(With makeup remover, not your fingers).
If you feel your eyelashes thinning, rub castor oil on them before you go to bed and gently wash it off in the morning.
Remember to wipe your eyelash curler clean each and every night. If there is leftover mascara on your curler, it can pull your lashes out.
P.S. One of my best kept secrets is that I am LOYAL to Covergirl Lash Blast waterproof mascara. I’ve tried everything, and this one is by far my favorite.
